I started my web design journey in 2022 when I enrolled in RMITs' online UX & UI Design courses, where I was able to gain my first taste of the design world.
I've recently graduated from TAFE NSW with a Diploma of Information Technology (Front & Back End Web Development), where I was able to get hands-on learning experience using a wide range of industry standard web development and design tools, foundational languages and software.

Full stack web development experience, provided hands-on exposure to using development tools, technologies, and languages to create website prototypes and functional web applications.
Front end projects focused on creating both static and dynamic responsive websites, with a focus on mobile-first design and WCAG accessibility compliance. Gained experience analysing client requiremements, developing project plans and reports, facilitating user testing and quality assurance testing, evaluating Google Analytics, performance optimisation, and SEO optimisation.
Back end projects provided pratical experience with NoSQL and relational databases, developing RESTful APIs, integrating third party APIs, CRUD operation management, and creating / executing testing documentation. Other key topics included maintaining data security through data validation and sanitisation.

Led by experts, this course introduced human-centered design principles, Nielsen's Usability Heuristics, and practical skills to create a developer-ready digital design project in Figma.
Applied skills across user flow mapping, creating moodboard, style guide, Figma components and layouts, user interviews, ideation, prioritisation, and iteration processes on mid fidelity designs, user testing, refining designs to produce a high fidelity mobile app prototype.

Led by industry experts, this course provied a hands-on experience focused on improving an existing digital product / service by addressing a key issue impacting user experience.
Exposure to the end-to-end UX process, including defining, refining, and justifying problem statements, competitor research, user interviews, insight synthesis in Miro, creating low fidelity wireframes, facilitating user testing, refining the design solutions into mid fidelity prototypes with Figma, and project presentation.
